XCEL Telecom and of Q Investments use EthosData's Virtual Data Room services on sale of Company in India

Horse-Shoe Capital (an affiliate of Q Investments) selected EthosData Virtual Data Room Services for the sale of its 100% equity interest in XCEL Telecom Pvt. Ltd. (“XCEL”) to American Tower Mauritius (a subsidiary of American Tower Corporation “ATC”). This marks the first complete exit by a financial investor through the M&A route in the telecom towers space in India.

Virtual Data Room: The due diligence evolution II

Virtual data rooms (VDRs) have become the norm in the due diligence stage in most transactions, substituting the traditional paper-based data rooms (see Know-how article “Virtual data rooms: the due diligence evolution”). However, in the last two years, the use of VDRs has changed dramatically: they are now being increasingly used in most of the transaction stages of a deal, not only during the due diligence process (see box “Engaging a VDR provider”).
